All hail All Dogs & Cats

I just wanted to alert the community to what an asset we have with All Dogs & Cats Veterinary Center. I have had a dog that was hit by a car and suffered two broken legs. These dedicated veterinarians were able to save the dog, and with surgery the dog is able to walk and run with no restrictions or disabilities. We are very fortunate to have them in our community.

Respectfully,

Keith Davis

Fabulous Founders Day

Our Founders Day in New Castle was a huge success due to our exceptional community involvement.

We would like to start by thanking Matthew Bennett for writing a wonderful article on our Founders Day in the Post Independent. We can’t forget Perry Will, even with his busy schedule, he took the time to donate moose meat for our potluck lunch and Joe Erickson for cooking it. Each year Perry has donated some type of wild game for this event.

Our speakers deserve a huge round of applause — Pastor Eddie Piker, Joe McNeal and Maryann Ligon — along with Barry Anderson for his music. And then there’s LaRue Wentz and Kathy Arthur for coming up with this year’s theme.

Town of New Castle

Until we meet again

I would like to thank you and tell you all I will miss our daily conversations about everything from football “Go Broncos” to our families (including the four-legged ones). You are the reason I enjoyed my 14-year career at the community center.

We have laughed, we shared tears, I watched your children grow up to young adults and some young adults to college, marriage and having children of their own.

This is not a goodbye because someday our paths will meet again and I look forward to the day they do.

My best wishes to all of you.

Love,

Lisa Moreau
