Crown Mountain Park Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, April 4th Crown Mountain Park was prime hopping ground for the fabled Easter Bunny. Spring had sprung and the warmth of the Colorado sun brought out not only Easter egg hunters but many park users with the many soccer games, little league baseball, tennis players, park users, and BMX riders — it was fun community day. Over 4,200 eggs were hidden in 3 separate ‘hunting’ areas classified by age from very young to teenage years, and it took the estimated 500 plus participants and families no time at all to fill their spring baskets! Crown Mountain Park would like to recognize and thank our many volunteers — Diana and Brad Elliott and the members of Basalt Boy Scouts Troop 242; Board members Rich Pavcek, Katie Schwoerer, and the Crown Mountain staff who were up early to prep baseball and soccer fields as well as hiding eggs. Happy Easter everyone. Look for many new and exciting upcoming events at your Crown Mountain Park. Stay up to date at http://www.crownmtn.org.

Thank you to all the participants, both young and older, we look forward to seeing you at the next community event.
