Readers Say Thanks

A job well done

I’m writing to express my sincere gratitude for the Mountain Madrigal Singers, and their Sunday matinee concert on December 6. It was lovely to see the room so full of people that additional chairs needed to be added. We were able to bring a large number of seniors to the event with the assistance of Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) and the Traveler, and they enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of community and grand music. It is a highlight of their holiday season!

Garfield County Senior Programs staff would like to commend the performers for a job well done, and to thank them for including an afternoon performance to allow senior and disabled attendees, and others who do not travel at night, to enjoy this wonderful performance. I highly recommend the upcoming performance at the First United Methodist Church to our community.

Seed sale

Roaring Fork Audubon would like to give a big thanks to the folks at R.J. Paddywacks, especially owner Eric Berry, for their help and support of our Annual Bird Seed Sale.

Our native birds need extra food in winter and we all need great community businesses like Paddywacks. When buying your pet supplies, please remember them and support our other local business as well.

Thanks Paddywacks!
