Roaring Fork Women’s Triathlon Team members race Shortcut
Pictured are 48 current and past members of the Roaring Fork Women’s Triathlon Team as they rocked their first benchmark race of the 2015 season at the Strawberry Shortcut 5K and 10K.In it’s 16th year, the tri team trains to swim, bike, and run for 14 weeks to complete a sprint triathlon in August. Members reside from Rifle to Basalt. The Team had a premiere showing at the race this year with twelve members placing in the top three of their age groups including assistant Coach Sharma Phillips winning second overall woman in the 5K; assistant Coach Carol McCurry and member Margot Fishman winning their respective age groups. Congratulations to all finishers and their supporters.
