Parents’ Night Out — An Evening on the Polar Express

Children ages 3 (must be potty trained) and older are invited for a Subway sandwich dinner, ornament making, games and a viewing of the movie “The Polar Express” from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at the First United Methodist Church in Glenwood Springs. $10 per child covers the cost of dinner and child care. New Year’s Library Closure

All six branches of the Garfield County Libraries will close early at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, and remain closed Wednesday, Jan. 1, to celebrate the New Year’s holiday. The libraries will resume normal hours at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2. For more information, visit http://www.gcpld.org.
