The Glenwood Springs Summer of Jazz is turning 20 this summer.For two decades, greater Glenwood Springs has enjoyed almost 200 music-filled summer Wednesday evenings with family and neighbors relaxing on blankets at Two Rivers Park.This 20th anniversary season promises to be a great one. The first of eight shows on June 1 features the get-out-of-your-chair music of Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers, fresh from New Orleans.The Summer of Jazz is a grassroots organization distinctive in that donations fund the entire series.This season offers a twist with the Perfect Match program. Employers encourage their employees to support the Summer of Jazz by matching their contributions. The employer then earns a listing at the combined higher level.
