Anti-war protesters are patriotic and courageous

Dear Editor,

Golly, gosh, History Professor Moolick,

Your blind patriotism is so noble! Although I think it’s justice you should have in mind, or perhaps on ostrich?

Point is, the citizens of a country are responsible for what and who their country is, regardless of the quality of leadership. This leadership that seeks to make America an aggressor, alienate our friends and make us a pariah in the world community is wrong. People speaking out against this idiocy are as loyal as you think you are and far more courageous.

The man you trust to blindly follow has already squandered a $5.6 trillion surplus into a $2.6 trillion debt in only two years, no war costs yet included. Those of our children and grandchildren that don’t get killed will pay for this madness for a long time!

Furthermore, this war is but an extension of the folly of three religions, which have been at each other’s throats in the Middle East for more then 2,000 years. We will rue the day we join it.
