Ardonna Waldron

Ardonna Waldron, age 63, of Rifle, passed away Oct. 26, 2006, in Hays, Kan. She passed away of heart complications, which she had been valiantly fighting for the past nine years.Ardonna was born Oct. 31, 1942, in Paoli, Ind., to John and Evadna (Mason) White.She grew up and graduated in Paoli, then moved to Tucson, Ariz. She met and later married Cecil Waldron in April 1966. Later that year they moved to Rifle and raised their family.Ardonna loved the Lord, the church and her family. She served as secretary/treasurer at First Assembly of God Church in Rifle for almost 30 years. She managed the kitchen at Wamsley Elementary for 25 years, retiring in December 2005. She enjoyed sewing, being outdoors with family and going to classic car shows, and was looking forward to seeing her future quadruplet grandbabies.She is survived by her husband; sons Brian Waldron and Dennis (Lisa) Waldron; daughter Elissa (Chris) Harder; her parents; brothers Terry (Ruth) White, Fred (Sue) White, and Rick (Robbie) White; sister Peggy (Richard) Nito; and grandsons Seth Waldron, soon-to-be Waldron quadruplets, and Elijah and Isaiah Harder. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 1, at the First Assembly of God Church, 550 E. Fifth St. in Rifle. Pastor Joe Berry will officiate. Pallbearers will be Galen Smith, Ken Kimberlin, Will Spence, Wally Cerise, Miles Rippy and Steve Clark.Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to The House of Promise Teen Challenge, P.O. Box 784, Olathe, CO 81425-0784.Rifle Funeral Home is entrusted with all the arrangements.
