Rebecca Rusch, three-time reigning 24-Hour Solo mountain biking world champion, is hosting a Carbondale screening of “Race Across The Sky”, the new documentary about one of the most intense endurance mountain bike races of all time, the Leadville Trail 100.
The Carbondale screening will take place at 7:30 p.m. on March 16 at Roaring Fork High School. Tickets will be available before the show and at the door.
There will be a pre-show party, where Rusch will meet with fans. There will be food, drinks and plenty of giveaways from Rusch’s sponsors. The pre-party will kick-off at 5:30 p.m. at Ajax Bike and Sports (571 Highway 133, Carbondale).
Three Rivers Little League is looking for 9- to 14-year-old girls to play softball. The season starts in April and practices start soon.

The Glenwood Springs High School track and field program is holding its annual silent auction fundraiser at on March 10.
The event, which starts at 6 p.m. and will be held in the GSHS cafeteria, is on the same night as the Lion’s Club fundraiser basketball game featuring the Harlem Ambassadors.
In addition to the more than 50 items up for bid, pizza will be sold by the slice. The auction will close at the end of halftime of the Harlem Ambassadors’ game.
Once again this summer, New Castle Recreation Department is partnering with Challenger British Soccer on a summer camp that allows children to advance their skills.

Glenwood Springs Soccer Club is now registering players for the spring soccer season.
Boys and girls in pre-school through second grade should sign up by March 15. The season starts April 6. The club is also looking for coaches.
There are also a few player openings in the older divisions: four boys and six girls in the U11-12 bracket; four girls in the U9-10 bracket; and three boys in the U13-14 bracket. Register as soon as possible as teams are almost full.
