Arnold takes women’s, overall title at inaugural Jingle Bell Run in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Colorado – The inaugural Jingle Bell Run 4-mile race, sponsored by Independence Run and Hike, took place in Carbondale on Dec. 20 and drew nearly 50 runners and walkers.

The race featured a route starting at the running store on Cowen Drive, through downtown and to the top of White Hill and back.

Winning the overall, as well as the women’s title, was Lauren Arnold with a time of 24 minutes, 23 seconds. The top male was Andrew Mansfield, finishing in 25.03.



Organizers are hoping to establish the pre-Christmas foot race as an annual event. Following are the complete results:
