Aurelia Block Wallace

Aurelia Block Wallace of Rifle died Wednesday, March 12, 2003. She was 95.

She was born July 23, 1907, in Torrington, Conn.

She married James A.S. Wallace in 1930 in Hartford, Conn.



She was a mother and a homemaker and loved tending her garden and growing flowers.

She is survived by twin daughters Priscilla D. Wallace and Drusilla M. Wallace, both of Rifle; by sons Bruce P. Wallace of Wethersfield, Conn., and Craig P. Wallace of Silt; by a sister, Ida Sonstroem of Newington, Conn.; by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and by her two little sweethearts, Bandit and Alex.



She was preceded in death by her husband and by three sisters and four brothers.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Connecticut.
