Authorities are looking for clues in Parachute peeping Tom case

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado – Garfield County Crime Stoppers and the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office are looking for information involving a peeping Tom.

According to a Garfield County Crime Stoppers release, an unknown male subject was seen attempting to enter the female shower facility at Battlement Mesa RV Park, located at 95 Eldora Drive in Parachute on Aug. 14.

The incident reportedly happened about 10:30 p.m.



The woman who reported the incident told Sheriff’s deputies that she was showering when she noticed the unknown male attempting to enter the facility through a window, according to the release. When she called out for help, the subject fled the area, got into a gold or champagne colored sedan and drove away, the release stated.

The witness told deputies that the male subject was approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a baseball-type hat.



Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call Garfield County Crime Stoppers at 945-0101. Callers with information leading to the arrest or indictment of the suspect or suspects in the case can remain anonymous and earn up to $1,000.
