Post Independent photographer Kelley Cox won first place for Best Photography Portfolio recently at the Colorado Press Association’s 135th Annual Convention and awards ceremony in Denver. The PI competes in Class 7, which includes dailies around the state with circulation ranging from 6,001 to 15,000. Here are a few of her award-winning photographs.

Garfield County to move to Level Blue on state’s COVID-19 dial Friday
Though it won’t bring major changes for most Garfield County businesses, local public health officials were notified Thursday that the county will move to the less-restrictive Level Blue, effective first thing Friday.
