Glenwood Springs girls varsity coach Rhonda Moser surprised the whole basketball program with a night of fun, creativity and laughter.

“We take care of each other, on and off the court,” Moser said.

Moser and the rest of the coaching staff invited the players to take part in paint night, last Thursday at Create! Art & Essence, a new art center on Grand Avenue in downtown Glenwood Springs.

Linda and Jennifer Jabbour, mother and daughter co-owners of the new business, helped entertain and teach the young ladies art basics during the event.

From freshman to varsity team, 36 of the 39 members of the program, including four coaches and five managers, packed the business for the team-bonding event last week.
