Bad `car-ma’ will catch up someday

Janet Klinder

Dear Editor,

This letter is directed to the person(s) responsible for stealing and subsequently wrecking my car on Prince Creek Road during the early morning hours of Sept. 12.

Do you realize what you have done? Maybe the damage didn’t seem so bad as you were running away from the scene of the accident, but you have totaled my car.

I am a single mother with two kids, and I rely on my car. I have to take my son to school every morning and pick him up every afternoon. No, he can’t ride the bus, because there is no bus service from where we live to his school. I need to get to work, I need to get to the store, and I need my car.

Thanks to you and your selfish need for adventure, I don’t have my car. My only consolation is that I believe in the saying, “What goes around, comes around.” Someday, another moron will do something equally as stupid and you, and those you love most, will be the ones to suffer. When that day comes, I hope you will remember me. Then, you will realize the true consequences of your actions.

Sincerely,

Janet Klinder
