Barry Robert Brooks

Barry Robert Brooks of Rifle died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004. He was 51.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Barry was a salesperson at Dahl Plumbing in Rifle since 1984.



He was born in Dover, N.J., to William Brooks and Jeanne Collins Brooks and grew up in Maryland.

Barry is survived by his wife, Danette (Morris) Brooks, whom he married on Sept. 21, 1985.



He is also survived by his parents; his sister Dinah Cranfill and her husband Jim of Wanchese, N.C.; and numerous aunts, uncles and nieces.

Barry belonged to the Methodist Church and was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Rifle Sportsman Club and was involved with Amway.

He loved all kinds of music and went to recording school in California, eventually becoming a recording engineer. He also loved the outdoors, was a loving husband and loved all his family.

Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
