Basalt Gallery marks anniversary

The Basalt Gallery will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a gala reception from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Owners Jody Ensign and Susan Manchee opened the gallery together and the partnership has grown to include Nina Pedersen.

Many of the artists whose works are shown by the gallery plan to be at the celebration, as will faithful clientele from across the country.

“Many of our artists were just starting their professional careers when we opened and now they are well known around the country for their work,” said Jody Ensign. “It’s been a wonderful experience growing along with our artists over the years.”

Artists now showing at the gallery include Cheryl Browder, Howard Carr, Jim Connelly, Roger Davis, Peggy Everett, Heather Foster, Judy Haas, Don Hamilton, Mark Henthorn, Linda Loeschen, Martha Mans, Lynn Rowan Myers, Janet Nelson, Greg Stocks, Andy Taylor, Michael Wisner and Dan Young.
