Rifle High School’s girls golf team placed first at Bookcliff Country Club in Grand Junction on Monday.

The entire field contended with gusty winds and frigid temperatures as the Bears posted a team score of 269.

Taylor Walters and Allison Powell both shot 87s, which tied them for first place individually. Powell nabbed medalist honors, though, via a scorecard playoff.

Alyx Carter contributed a score of 95 to finish sixth.
