Billy Paul Orgish, 74, of Gypsum died Monday, June 28, 2004, in Gypsum.There will be a memorial service at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 1, at Farnum-Holt Funeral Home Chapel, 405 W. 7th St. in Glenwood Springs. Pastor Bruce Dunsdon will officiate. Interment will be in Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs.He was born March 8, 1930, in McCoy, the son of Paul and Freda Orgish. He married Annie Gibbons on Dec. 1, 2000, in Gypsum. Surviving is his wife of Gypsum. A brother, Jerry Orgish, preceded him in death in 1952.Bill Orgish was a miner and an officer for the Bureau of Land Management. He worked in law enforcement for 30 years, and was a rancher for 30 years and a healer for 14 years.He worked in Eagle County, Steamboat Springs and Cortez. He was a member of the Association of Colorado Law Enforcement Officers and the Australian Bowling Academy.The family suggests memorials to the National Rifle Association.
