Bracken doesn’t know why U.S. is great

Richard Moolick

Dear Editor,

I was shocked to open to page 13 of the Jan. 26 Sunday paper and find that the page had been incorrectly labeled. Instead of “Letter to the Editor” it incorrectly read “Letters to the Editor.”

I was very envious of John Martin. Here he received a letter which gently maligned him over the entire five columns of the page.

His opponent was Lisa Bracken of Silt.

Another of today’s radicals, writes well, but is devoid of any knowledge of economics, history, or any of the sciences. She doesn’t know why this nation is great!!

I suppose she drives an SUV and lives in a home with natural gas (maybe propane) and electric power from coal or natural gas sources. If her ilk would only show how sincere they really were by turning their utilities off and selling their cars and trucks!

Then I looked back to the Jan. 24 newspaper and there was a short letter by Bryan Zukowski which questioned my use of commas, but misspelled my last name. Now, that hurt!

Sincerely yours,

Richard Moolick
