Brianna Barnes Kuberry

With her beloved brother Trent by her side Brianna’s short time on this earth came to an end at St. Mary’s Hospital on March 3, 2011 in Grand Junction. She was 26 years old.

Brianna was born Feb. 3, 1985 at Vail to Gregory and Marvella Barnes. She spent her early childhood and attended schools in both in Vail and Glenwood Springs.

She married Dustin Kuberry in 2005. He survives along with her daughter, Khallie (5) and son, Noah (4); her mother, Marvella (Chesney) Barnes of Northglenn; her older brothers, Jess (Melissa) Barnes of Trout Run, Pa., Trent (Stephanie) Barnes; a sister, Meriah Barnes all of Grand Junction; grandparents, Dean and Janet Barnes and Barbara Chesney; eight nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Her father, Gregory and grandfather, Frank Chesney preceded her in death.

A celebration of Brianna’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Enterprise Hall, 1477 19 Road in Fruita beginning at 1 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Noah and Khallie Kuberry Trust Fund set up any Alpine Bank in care of Nick Kuberry.

Arrangements were taken care of by Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
