Brownell found guilty of being an accessory to 2006 trooper shooting

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado ” A jury found Nichole Brownell guilty of being an accessory to the 2006 shooting of a Colorado State Patrol trooper.

Police believe she helped Steven Appl hide and try to escape after he shot former Colorado State Patrol Trooper Brian Koch on Oct. 24, 2006 during a traffic stop south of Silt.
