David Briscoe has been appointed to chief financial officer for The Fleisher Co. Mr. Briscoe previously worked at Marolt LLP in Aspen and has spent the last six years in public accounting providing financial expertise to individuals and companies. Mr. Briscoe is a 20-year resident of the valley. Mike and Lisa Nieslanik of Carbondale are new members of the American Angus Association.The association records ancestral information and keeps production records on individual animals. These permanent records help members select and mate the best animals in their herds to produce high-quality, efficient breeding cattle which are then recorded with the American Angus Association.

Glenwood Springs native Chad D. Eggleston received his masters electrician license Feb. 4. Chad is employed by Electrical Outfitters of Glenwood Springs and is a third-year teacher for the Western Colorado IEC, Chapter. Chad passed the test on his first try.
