The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon, and The Commercial Association of Realtors of Oregon and Southwest Washington, have asked Michael Chandler to be their keynote speaker during their 2006 CAR Dinner and Awards Celebration entitled “Making Dreams Come True!” on March 2 in Portland, Ore. Chandler is president of The Chandler Marketing Co. in Glenwood Springs and author of the best-selling book “Dreamweaving.”

Christine Romano, a Long Island native, has joined Blizzard Internet Marketing’s design department. She completed her BS in Computer Information Systems at DeVry University in Denver, when her move to Colorado in 2004 was inspired by a desire to learn GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Wells Fargo Bank N.A. received an “Outstanding” rating – the highest regulatory rating possible – in its most recent Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) examination by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Wells Fargo Bank N.A., which serves more than 10 million households in 23 states, met and exceeded community needs in areas such as affordable housing, financial education and small business lending. At the state level, Wells Fargo also received an “Outstanding” rating for Colorado.



American Family Insurance is pleased to announce the addition of Michele Wurtsmith, the new licensed office manager at the John D. Bell agency. Michele started at the agency in August 2005 and received her property and casualty license Nov. 16, 2005. Michele and her family have lived in Glenwood Springs for 15 years. Her husband, Chris, is a sergeant with the Carbondale Police Department.
