Joe Carpenter, general manager of The Fleisher Co., announces the sale by their firm of the Crystal River Plaza in Carbondale for $7.3 million to an ownership group based in Kansas City, plus the additional sale of a vacant parcel of land adjacent to the plaza. The Crystal River Plaza, which includes such tenants as City Market, Ace Hardware and Radio Shack, is currently the largest commercial property in Carbondale. The Fleisher Co. has managed and maintained the property for the past five years. Land Title Guarantee Co. announces Martha Brooks has joined the company as marketing director for the Garfield County market. In this role, Brooks will help drive Land Title’s strategic marketing and sales initiatives.Brooks brings a strong background of marketing experience to the company. Most recently she comes from World Publications LLC in Winter Park, Fla., where she spent the past four years developing the online sales and marketing program for six travel related publications. Prior to that Brooks spent six years with The Vail Cascade Resort & Spa in Vail, developing and implementing marketing strategies for both the group and leisure segments.
