Schmueser Gordon Meyer has hired two engineers-in-training, Christine Bechtel and Shannon Ullman. Christine received a bachelor of science in biological systems engineering with concentrations in land and water resources with green engineering from Virginia Tech. She’ll be working closely with the firm’s water resources team.Shannon Ullman joined SGM as an engineer. She received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in environmental engineering with a concentration in groundwater remediation from the Colorado School of Mines. Shannon will also be working closely with SGM’s water resource team.Frank McSwain and Stephanie Keister also recently joined SGM. Frank recently relocated to the Roaring Fork Valley from Denver and will serve as a project manager, assisting the firm in the coordination of their energy-related projects in Western Colorado. Frank received his undergraduate degree in business from North Carolina State and his master’s degree from Denver University. Frank’s extensive experience in business development, real estate, and finance has stemmed from an impressive resume of firms, including Ford, Lucent and JP Morgan. Stephanie Keister joined SGM in September as the director of marketing, leading the firm’s public relations, marketing and advertising efforts. Most recently, Stephanie served as the director of tourism marketing for the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association. Her bachelor’s degree in public relations is from Webster University in St. Louis.SGM is a full-service engineering and surveying firm for both the public and private sectors of Western Colorado. For more than 20 years, SGM has had a strong presence in Colorado and held a significant role in many development projects.
The Fleisher Co. has announced the addition of Jeff Kelley to the broker staff of its Carbondale office. Jeff was formerly a teacher for the Re-1 school district and will retain his position as football coach of Roaring Fork High School. Joey Antonides, Sandy Gould and Melissa English of Glenwood Travel King attended an Apple Vacations Seminar in Grand Junction on Huatulco, Mexico, the hemisphere’s first eco-tourism resort with 22 miles of beaches.
