Dan Niedbalski, promoted to senior vice president, has been with the Alpine Bank team for 13 years. His expertise leads Alpine Bank’s loan operations in Rifle. He is active locally serving as volunteer coordinator for Western Slope Special Olympics and as a board member for Glenwood Springs Kiwanis Club. Dan’s volunteer efforts also reach outside the country, teaching English in Poland, and visits Romania to care for children of Failure to Thrive Children.



Tracy Stanfield, promoted to senior vice president, joined Alpine Bank in 1994. As part of the bank’s risk management team in Glenwood Springs, she oversees the bank’s regulatory compliance. Tracy earned a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification in June 2003. As a parent, her passion is education, and is currently president of the board for Our School, a nonprofit early childhood education organization.

Laura Speck is the new owner of The Silver Bead, located at 720 Grand Ave., inside the King Mall in downtown Glenwood Springs. The Silver Bead offers an extensive variety of beads in every color of the rainbow, as well as wire, findings, tools and supplies.The Silver Bead is having a grand re-opening party from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26.
