Alpine Bank has filed application with both the state and the FDIC for a South Rifle location, scheduled to open in summer 2007, featuring a full-service bank, four drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM. Alpine Bank was awarded the certification for implementation of their environmental management system. The new South Rifle location will be utilizing solar energy to generate electricity, and is designed to harvest daylight. Sensors will measure light and automatically reduce power to electric lights when not needed. The new building is designed around a tighter building envelope to further increase a high efficiency HVAC system. Landscaping and lighting fixtures are all designed around low consumption.



Chomp’s Deli opened its doors earlier this year to offer authentic sandwiches/hoagies, and homemade soups and salads to locals and tourists alike.
