The Carbondale-Aspen Glen Rotary announced the new officers for 2007 and 2008. Serving as president will be Craig Rathbun of The Fleisher Co.; Chad Griller of Fenton Construction will serve as vice president; Greg Mohl, CPA and Melissa English of Glenwood Travel King will serve as treasurer and secretary, respectively; and Vicki Peterson, owner of Ace Hardware, will serve as membership chairman.
The Carbondale-Aspen Glen Rotary has been singularly focused over the last three years on organizing and raising money to build and operate the Childhelp River Bridge Center in Glenwood Springs, a facility that cares for abused children from Aspen to Parachute. It will remain the primary force behind River Bridge in the future, but plans to be increasingly involved in other Carbondale community projects in 2007 and 2008.
