Yampah Spa, the hot spring Vapor Caves, has promoted Ann Hoban to the position of spa manager and massage supervisor. Ann has been a valued employee with Yampah for over ten years.

The Basalt Chamber of Commerce has hired Real Time Marketing (RTM) to help develop the Chambers five-year marketing and business plan. Agencies submitted proposals in response to the RFP sent out by the chamber in early November. Final interviews with the Basalt Chamber Marketing Advisory Board were conducted in early January. RTM will begin work immediately on the marketing plan, including creating a unified brand to be applied to 2008 marketing pieces. Messaging will be aligned with the values and objectives of the community as a whole. RTM will work closely with the chamber and its marketing committee, retailers, restaurants, Realtors and chamber members.

Jeff Johnson has been promoted to branch president of the Bank of Colorado. He brings 35 years of banking experience to his new position. For the past 15 years, he has served in the Glenwood Springs branch as a commercial lender and is currently the senior vice president of lending. Jeff holds a degree in finance from Colorado State University (CSU) and an MBA from the University of Denver. Jeff, a native of Palisade, will be responsible for the branches located in Glenwood Springs, Basalt and Rifle.
