Anita Bruno is the newest vice president for Community Banks of Colorado. Anita comes to Community Banks of Colorado with extensive banking, sales and management experience. Owning and operating a small business for 10 years, selling real estate and serving as vice president of another local area bank provides her with a well-rounded background in the values and financial needs of the Roaring Fork Valley.

Michael Corbett has been promoted to loan officer of Community Banks of Colorado at its 1810 Grand Ave., Glenwood Springs branch. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelors degree in economics, Mike and wife Brandi moved to Glenwood Springs. With prior banking experience he joined Community Banks of Colorado in 2006. Mike is responsible for growing new banking relationships and servicing the loan needs of existing bank customers.

Mountain Parent magazine brought home gold, silver and bronze from the Editorial and Design Awards Competition at the Parenting Publications of America Annual Convention in Little Rock, Ark.PPAs award competition recognizes excellence in journalism, photography and design achieved by publishers, editors, writers and designers at member publications.
