A Denver-based national provider of search engine optimization services, has hired Mary Bowling of Glenwood Springs as director of search engine marketing. Bowling will work remotely from Glenwood Springs and is responsible for overall project management, including research and execution.Bowling had worked at Blizzard Internet Marketing, a company that specializes in online marketing for the hospitality industry. Bowling, also an entrepreneur, previously owned several successful companies.
David Ulane, assistant director of aviation administration at Aspen/Pitkin County Airport, recently received the “Aviation Excellence Award” during a recent American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) regional conference. The award recognizes airport management professionals, other than the person having primary responsibility for the airport, who have “gone out of their way and given substantial extra effort to ensure the promotion, operations, maintenance or development of aviation and/or the airport. The recipient is a person of exceptional qualities who may perform management, supervisory, operational, engineering, planning or maintenance functions in the second or other level of the airport organization.” Ulane has been in the aviation industry for 20 years. Before working for the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport, Ulane was airport manager in St. George, Utah.

Construction will include renovations and upgrades to the lobby, hallways, exercise room, pool, guest rooms & guest baths.
