Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park was named Editor’s Pick for “Best Emerging Attraction” by Colorado Meeting + Events magazine at its annual Best Of Colorado awards ceremony in Denver recently. According to editor Beth Buehler, “When starting with something as cool as the caverns that can be explored at this Glenwood Springs attraction, it forms a great base for something more. The adventure park keeps adding new features such as the zip ride and bungee jump that will greet 2011 guests. The alpine coaster and canyon swing bring out the kid in anyone, and there’s laser tag, saloon photos, rock climbing, a 4D ride theater and more to entertain. This is an ideal place for a casual group experience such as a day of fun complemented with a picnic. There might even be time for a meeting and a stop at the famous hot springs and quaint downtown.” “We have really focused on developing our group events business the past few years,” explained Steve Beckley, who owns Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park with his wife, Jeanne. “The group picnic package that we are now offering has worked out well for us and for our customers. It’s an honor to be recognized for our efforts.”For more information about group events, visit http://www.GlenwoodCaverns.com and click on the Groups link at the top of the page, or call 970-945-4228 or 800-530-1635, ext. 118.

J.L. Haneke Financial & Insurance Services Inc. (www.jlhaneke.com) would like to congratulate our staff member, Jody Bergerud, CPCU, for passing the Colorado Property & Casualty licensing exams this month. These exams are required by the state of Colorado in order to sell insurance such as commercial general liability, workman’s comp, homeowners, auto, and more. These exams are very difficult and take a great deal of preparation in order to pass. Although Jody was previously licensed in another state for these insurance lines, Colorado requires he pass the exams here in our state. With his extensive background in property and casualty insurance, we knew this would be an easily achievable task for him. As an Independent Agency, we want our agents to be able to consult with clients on all sides of their life. So we are excited for Jody to further assist our business and individual clients that he has already been helping with their life, health, disability, and Medicare supplement policies. We are very proud of his achievement.
