Glenwood Brewing honor

Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company won two medals at the 2004 World Beer Cup Competition in San Diego.

Winners were selected from more than 1,500 entries from breweries in 40 countries. Sopris Strong Ale and Carbonator Dopplebock Lager both received silver medals.

Edward Jones will host a career seminar from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, in the Springs Center, Suite 100, next door to Village Inn.

Flesner joins Sopris Surfers

John Flesner has been hired as part of Sopris Surfers’ Carbondale-based sales staff. Flesner has a technical sales background and has lived in Glenwood Springs since 1991.

Zoomy Communications move

Zoomy Communications Inc. has moved into the Hotel Denver in Glenwood Springs. Zoomy is in the Atrium Suite, a newly remodeled high-tech office.

Also, the Willits Commercial Development in Basalt has teamed up with Zoomy Communications, Inc. to provide an advanced fiber optic network to every business in the new commercial town center.
