U.S. Bank earns top community reinvestment

U.S. Bank National Association has been awarded an “outstanding” rating, the highest possible, by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. With the rating, the OCC acknowledged U.S. Bank’s leadership role in meeting the credit needs of the communities the bank serves, including low- and moderate-income areas and people.

Heim attends conference

Local dentist Dr. Jay Heim recently attended the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s 20th Annual Scientific Session in Vancouver, BC. Heim is providing new treatment techniques in cosmetic dentistry. Information: 945-9119.

RMI Solutions receives award

Rocky Mountain Institute’s newsletter, RMI Solutions, has received three Communicator Awards. RMI received Awards of Distinction in the newsletter writing and newsletter nonprofit categories, as well as an Honorable Mention in the newsletter interior design category.

The Communicator Awards is an international competition designed by communications professionals to honor excellence in their field.

LoVa hires executive director

The Lower Valley Trails Group has hired Larry Dragon as its executive director. Dragon previously worked with Valley Partnership for Drug Prevention and has experience in nonprofit development and management.

Blea is director of the year

April Blea, director of nursing at Heritage Park Care Center in Carbondale, was recently named Life Care Centers of America’s mountain states division director of nursing of the year. Life Care Centers of America run Heritage Park.

The award is given to an individual who demonstrates outstanding qualities in customer service ratings, staff development and successful state surveys.

Blea was selected from all directors of nursing in Life Care’s mountain states division, which encompasses Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico and Wyoming.
