The 2009 EVVY Awards were presented to this year’s winners at the CIPA Book Awards Banquet held March 28, preceding the annual CIPA College held at the Red Lion Hotel in Denver.
Ramsey’s book, “Just Be You,” took second place in the children’s category. Ramsey wrote, illustrated, published, created the layout design, and created websites for her books, artwork and publishing company.
For two consecutive quarters, American National Bank has received the highest rating as a Blue Ribbon Bank from VERIBANC Inc., an independent bank rating firm. To celebrate receiving the award, American National Bank in Glenwood Springs opened their branch to the community and offered cake, refreshments and answered questions about the rating Friday, March 27.
To qualify for the Blue Ribbon status, banks must receive VERIBANC’s highest Green, Three Stars rating, including an evaluation of all six factors federal regulators use in determining the government’s “CAMELS” ratings ” capital strength, asset quality, management, earnings, liquidity, and sensitivity to market risk. In addition, it must satisfy other safety-related criteria.
Exclusive Athletic Club in Glenwood Springs congratulates Todd Nystrom, Nate Rand and Megan Henrie, its newest certified personal trainers who recently passed rigorous written and practical exams through the nationally-accredited Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA.)
