The Glenwood Hot Springs will be ushering in the new spring season with an open house on April 29 from 5-7 p.m. The round-robin style event encourages guests to stop by all the venues including the Spa of the Rockies, the Glenwood Hot Springs Athletic Club, the Sport Shop, the Grill and even the Hot Springs Pool Lobby where there will be live entertainment. The Glenwood Springs High School Jazz Ensemble will put a little spring in everyone’s step and Justin Bosco will keep audiences guessing with his magic tricks. Light refreshments will be served and upon arrival guests can register for drawings to win prizes.

“This is a perfect opportunity to see what’s new at the Glenwood Hot Springs,” said Ann Denney, director of sales and marketing for the landmark property. One new feature is the recently installed steps located in the pool just outside the Athletic Club. The half-moon shaped stairs and new handrails will make entering and exiting the Hot Springs Pool more convenient for Athletic Club members, Spa of the Rockies guests and pool patrons.

The Sport Shop is freshly stocked with warm weather essentials that include swimsuits, sportswear, accessories and more. Open house guests will want to bring their April coupons for 20 percent off their entire purchase. To print a coupon, go to http://www.hotspringspool.com.

Stop by the Spa of the Rockies and ask about their version of “mud season.” The Grapeseed Body Revitalizer uses Hungarian mud and cocoa for an indulgent, skin-nourishing treatment that promises to revitalize winter skin. While at the Athletic Club, guests can learn about the multitude of ongoing fitness and nutrition classes available. Those considering a membership will have the opportunity for tours, to talk to members and the Athletic Club director, and to sign up for new short-term 3-month trial memberships or full annual memberships.

Remember the pedestrian bridge connecting downtown Glenwood Springs with the Glenwood Hot Springs is under construction; plan to use the pedestrian/cycling detour or drive to the open house and park in one of the Glenwood Hot Springs lots. For more information about the Glenwood Hot Springs Open House, contact Ann Denney at 945-3324 or e-mail adenney@hotspringspool. com.
