Hollis E. Kelley Jr., a financial advisor for Edward Jones in Glenwood Springs, was recently honored by the firm for his job performance.

This recognition earned Kelley an invitation to Edward Jones’ annual Managing Partner’s Conference in May at the firm’s regional campus in Phoenix. The three-day meeting pools Edward Jones’ most successful representatives for a discussion with James D. Weddle, Edward Jones’ managing partner, on issues facing the firm and the financial services industry as a whole.

Kelley was one of 300 financial advisors out of more than 10,000 Edward Jones brokers to attend the conference.

Edward Jones provides financial services for individual investors in the United States and, through its affiliates, in Canada and the United Kingdom. Every aspect of the firm’s business, from the types of investment options offered to the location of branch offices, is designed to cater to individual investors in the communities in which they live and work.

Trish Wailes of Rifle has joined the Paradise Day Spa team. Trish specializes in color and hair cut designs, and she styled men, women and children in Grand Junction before joining Paradise Day Spa.

Also new: Nikki Stephens of Smooth Salon is available for waxing on Fridays.

The goal is to raise $1,000 for MS, which will be matched by the Du Pre Foundation. Deb will be cycling in the MS 150 in Texas (150 miles in two days), a cycling event to raise money for the cause.
