Golden Key Concierge Guide under new ownership
Debbie Pennington, founder and longtime owner of the Golden Key Concierge Guide, has announced that the guide, website, and all associated assets have been acquired by longtime Colorado residents Jim and Sara Hall. To ensure a seamless transition, Pennington will continue in an advisory role while the Halls assume operational responsibility.
“This was not an easy decision, but the right one for me, and I know that the Halls will bring great energy and direction to ensure the needs of the area’s businesses and visitors are met,” said Pennington.
Jim Hall acknowledges he has big shoes to fill. “Debbie has been a longtime advocate of bringing together businesses, guest service professionals, and vacationers in the Roaring Fork Valley,” he said. “My wife and I look forward to working with local businesses to help them meet their business goals through the Golden Key.”
Over the past 21 years, the Golden Key Concierge Guide has grown into a bound book of information for tourists, locals and guest service professionals. The Golden Key is published at the beginning of the summer and winter seasons and provides comprehensive information about arts, culture, recreational activities and dining options throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. The guide is displayed in more than 100 hotel lobbies, property management companies, private lodging retreats, visitor centers and airports.
The Golden Key also features an interactive website http://www.conciergeguide.com, a mobile site, news blog, as well as a group planning guide.
The Golden Key also produces a Season’s Highlights twice a year plus the Taste of Summer and Taste of Winter industry networking events.
