On Wednesday, June 29, New Castle had a ribbon cutting for the newly opened 2 Coronas Mexican Bar & Grill. 2 Coronas is open for lunch and dinner, serving Mexican dishes and fresh seafood. Sonia Duran, owner Salvador Corona, Erika Corona and Itzel Corona, along with employees Fernando Robles, Chano Robles, Jorge Gomez and Cindy Pelaez are happy to announce the opening of 2 Coronas. Joining in on the ribbon cutting were Terri Knob and Di Herald from the New Castle Chamber of Commerce and Melody Harrison, Tim Cain, and Tom Baker from the town of New Castle.

Mountain Family Health Centers to receive part of $156 Million HHS award for oral health services

Mountain Family Health Centers will receive part of $3.8 million awarded to Colorado Community Health Centers to increase access to integrated oral health care services and improve oral health outcomes for Health Center Program patients.

The funding is part of nearly $156 million from Health and Human Services awarded to 420 health centers in 47 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

“This funding will expand access to much needed dental care at MFHC Basalt for under-served populations in Pitkin and southwestern Eagle Counties, starting in the Fall of 2017,” said Ross Brooks, CEO of Mountain Family Health Centers.
