Heather Douglas joins Midland Fitness
Heather Douglas, M.S. Ac, L.Ac, Dipl Ac, has joined Midland Fitness. She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located in Denver in 2015. This was a 28-month accelerated masters with 2,265 hours. She is certified as a licensed acupuncturist by the Colorado State Boards, which includes certification in clean needle technique, and has also received her acupuncture certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Douglas’ training includes other modalities of healing through Chinese medicine, including: guasha, blood letting, cupping, electro-acupuncture, auricular therapy , tui na, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations. She is also a reiki master, has an Associate of Science Degree and Certificate in Holistic Health from Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, and has trained in various forms of hands-on energy healing since 2010.

Hires at DTCI
Amber Morrison was recently hired by Desktop Consulting Inc. in Glenwood Springs to work on the help desk. She came to the Roaring Fork Valley at a very young age. She keeps busy with her two children at home. She appreciates healthy food and always has essential oils diffusing in her office.
Jacy Ellis has been hired as IT specialist. She was born and raised in Glenwood Springs, has traveled extensively and has lived in Australia for several years.
Suzanne Emery joined DTCI in 2015 as the first sales representative. She has been serving customers throughout the Roaring Fork and Eagle valleys for nearly 30 years in various sales positions. She likes biking, hiking, walking, camping and boating. She and her husband have lived in Glenwood Springs since 1987 and enjoy time with their family.
