Alpine Animal Hospital welcomes intern Meggie Garvey

Megan Garvey has joined Alpine Animal Hospital as a veterinary intern. Garvey holds a doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois. While in college and veterinary school she gained experience in various veterinary clinics as an intern, a critical care provider and assistant. She is interested in rural mixed animal practice and will, along with our other doctors and staff, assist and provide services to the community of Alpine Animal Hospital in equine and companion animal care, for the next year.

Megan, who prefers to go by Meggie, received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in May of this year. See looks forward to meeting members of our community while helping to care for your pets and other animals.
