Bonfire Coffee opening Willits location with Kickstarter campaign

Award winning coffee roaster Bonfire Coffee is opening a new location in Willits through Kickstarter, an entrepreneurial crowdfunding way to fund a project. Owner Charlie Chacos opened Bonfire Coffee in Carbondale in 2011 and is now expanding midvalley. To kick off this funding project, Chacos is hosting a “Build a Bonfire” party at his Carbondale location at 5 p.m. Friday, June 5. The community is invited to learn more about Kickstarter, learn about the craft of coffee, taste the new Nitrogen infused Cold Brewed Coffee, and three other new coffee blends. Bonfire’s Kickstarter campaign has multiple financial levels that community members can contribute from $10 to $500. Chacos is excited to take on this venture and said, “I believe Bonfire Coffee strives to celebrate the mastery of skills of our individuals rather than the expertise of a machine. We find immense beauty in watching our skilled baristas, roasters and cooks work.”
