Professionals, businesses needed for career fair

Staff report

Professionals, employers sought for student career fair

The Glenwood Springs Sunset Rotary Club and Roaring Fork Young Professionals are looking for professionals and employers to participate in a major student career fair being held April 15 at Glenwood Springs High School.

All 900 Glenwood High School students will be cycling through the career fair, organizer Altai Chuluun said in an email seeking volunteers. He said students from other Roaring Fork School District high schools will be attending in the afternoon.

Professionals are needed to advise students, most of whom do not know what they want to do in life, on career path options in the professionals’ fields and what it takes to do what they do.

Employers are wanted who might be hiring this summer or permanently for students staying in the area.

Those interested should contact Chuluun at 970-779-4230 or achuluun@berthod.com or Mark Gould Jr. at 970-379-8326 or markjr@gouldconstruction.com.
