Byrd and band land at Steve’s Guitars

Jonathan Byrd will perform with his band, Dromedary, at 8 p.m. Sunday at Steve’s Guitars in Carbondale.
Byrd, a Kerrville Folk Festival award-winning songwriter and flatpicker, and Dromedary, a world music ensemble from Athens, Ga., will play five stringed instruments from four continents to blend music from the Andes and Appalachia.
The band recently won the People’s Choice Award at the Moab Folk Festival and has opened for Beausoleil, Jerry Douglas and the Mammals.
