The Glenwood Springs Community Center will be closed Sunday, Nov. 14, due to fumes and construction scheduling difficulties. The facility is scheduled to reopen on Monday, Nov. 15. Information/updates: 384-6301.

Members of the St. Mary of the Crown Parish located on top of White Hill in Carbondale will host their 27th annual elk dinner from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at the church. Suggested donations are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for kids 5 to 12 years old. Browse through the country store for homemade crafts, and bid on numerous items in the silent auction. Tickets are available at the door.

The Colorado Snowmobile Association will display its safety trailer from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at Wal-Mart in Glenwood Springs.
