A demonstration on sculpting the human face, given by Carbondale Clay Center resident artist, Paige Wright. The hands-on class at CCC is meant for all levels. More information: 963-2529.

11th Annual Queen’s Charity Golf Classic, beginning at noon (with lunch), with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Golf Club. The event is still seeking sponsors for the event, including sponsors for individual holes, special events and a silent auction. A goal has been set of raising a minimum of $5,000. The Jack Smith Scholarship Golf Tournament, 8:30 a.m. (shot gun start) at the Rifle Creek Golf Course. This is a two-person scramble with two flights, competitive and leisure. Twenty percent of combined handicap prizes for gross and net. All proceeds go to the Jack Smith Scholarship at Rifle High School.
