Auden Schendler, director of environmental affairs for the Aspen Skiing Co., will speak at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, as part of Tomorrow’s Voices, a series of environmental lectures held at the Roaring Fork High School auditorium. Schendler will speak on the connections between green business efforts and environmental ethics.

The West Garfield County Landfill will be closed Monday, Feb. 16, in observation of Presidents Day. It will reopen at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Winter hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Garfield Legal Services will present the next Tuesday Night Bar on Feb. 17 at the Garfield County Courthouse. Attorneys volunteer their time to provide 15 minutes of consultations on matters such as divorce, custody, landlord/tenant, bankruptcy and consumer debt/credit.
