Can’t blame world’s problems on one man

Dear Editor,

This is in response to Blane Colton’s letter that was published in your paper on Sept. 11. I do not know who you are, but I do know that if you want change, and America certainly could use some change, it cannot come from one person, and cannot be blamed on one person. There are many things that sadden me about the way things are done, but unless I want to be actively involved in being part of the process that brings about change, I have no right to criticize or complain. I would want to ask Mr. Colton what he is doing, besides writing letters to the editor, to remedy the situation. It is so simplistic to blame the state of the world, the state of the nation, and the state of the planet on one man.
