Canyon closure impacts newspaper delivery
GLENWOOD SPRINGS – Delivery of today’s Glenwood Springs Post Independent and Aspen Times has been delayed due to the result of a Sunday night rockslide that has closed Interstate 70 in Glenwood Canyon.
The printing facility for both newspapers is located in Gypsum. Delivery drivers had to truck the newspapers up to Craig and then down through Rifle, bringing them to Glenwood from the west. Distribution throughout the Roaring Fork Valley has begun.
